mccain0508.jpgWar, do we really need it?  Senator John McCain sure likes to think so.  The man doesn’t know who the most powerful nation in the world will be attacking, but he has been overheard singing Bomb Bomb Iran and the party he represents is hell-bent on mass murder in Muslim countries.

“And right now – we’re gonna have a lot of PTSD [post traumatic stress disorder] to treat, my friends,” he said. “We’re gonna have a lot of combat wounds that have to do with these terrible explosive IEDs that inflict such severe wounds. And my friends, it’s gonna be tough, we’re gonna have a lot to do.”

Is this a man that even has a hope of being elected?  He avoids the issues that matter most to Americans right now which are the economy and education, instead focusing on his strong suit, foreign affairs.

Q: President Bush has talked about our staying in Iraq for 50 years — (cut off by McCain)

McCAIN: Make it a hundred.

Q: Is that … (cut off)

McCAIN: We’ve been in South Korea … we’ve been in Japan for 60 years. We’ve been in South Korea 50 years or so. That would be fine with me. As long as Americans …

Q: [tries to say something]

McCAIN: As long as Americans are not being injured or harmed or wounded or killed. That’s fine with me, I hope that would be fine with you, if we maintain a presence in a very volatile part of the world where Al Queada is training and equipping and recruiting and motivating people every single day.

I can’t even fathom a response to that.  What are these people thinking.  I guess the money takes control of not only their morals but our civil liberties as well.  Are American soldiers not being injured, harmed, wounded, and killed on a daily basis.
